The Bradford Area School District is seeking a passionate,

experienced, knowledgeable and highly organized individual to

serve as our next Head Varsity Football Coach. We are

looking for a leader who can build a strong, competitive

program by focusing on the development of individual players,

creating a cohesive team, and preparing our athletes to

compete at a high level. The ideal candidate will possess the

ability to study opposing teams, develop game plans tailored to

both our strengths and our opponents’ weaknesses, and adapt

strategies as necessary.

Responsibilities Include:

· Designing and leading a comprehensive football program for

students in grades 7–12, with an emphasis on individual skill

development and team cohesion

· Studying and analyzing opposing teams to develop targeted

strategies, while maximizing the strengths of each player and

the team as a whole

· Fostering a strong, positive relationship with each player to

support both their athletic and personal growth

· Organizing and executing clear, structured practice sessions

and game plans, with the flexibility to make adjustments in

real-time during practices and games

· Managing and mentoring assistant coaches, while

collaborating closely with the Athletic Director.

· Ensuring full compliance with PIAA regulations and policies

· Building a culture of sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and

accountability

Qualifications:

· Prior successful coaching experience at the high school or

collegiate level is preferred

· An extensive and comprehensive understanding of all aspects

of the game to include, but not be limited to offensive and

defensive strategies, player development and in-game decision

making and adjustments.

· Strong ability to assess individual player strengths and

develop personalized strategies for improvement

· Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

· Proven ability to develop and adjust detailed practice and

game plans based on opponent analysis

· A commitment to fostering strong, supportive relationships with

student-athletes, and serving as a positive role model both on

and off the field

· A focus on building a competitive, disciplined, and cohesive

team environment
