PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

On behalf of the McKean County Commissioners, the

Redevelopment Authority of the County of McKean will hold

a public hearing at the McKean County Redevelopment &

Housing Authority, 415 W. Main Street, Smethport, PA

16749 at 10:00 AM on September 1st, 2026.

The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public input,

comments and questions regarding a proposed Program

Modification of McKean County’s 2024 CDBG Program.

This Modification will accomplish the following:

• 2024 – Modify the CDBG Program funds of $10,000 by

reducing the funds for the Bradford Township Spot

Demolition Project and reallocating those funds to the

Bradford Township Housing Rehabilitation Project.

• 2024 – Modify the CDBG Program funds of $15,000 by

reducing the funds for the Kane Sidewalk and Crosswalk

Project and reallocating those funds to the County Wide Spot

Demolition Project.

Public comments and questions for this public hearing will be

received until 12:00 pm Noon on September 6th, 2026.

It is anticipated that the McKean County Commissioners will

address this Program Modification at their regularly scheduled

meeting on September 8th at 10:00 am.
