MODIFICATION

The City of Bradford will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall, 24 Kennedy Street, Bradford, PA.

The public hearing concerns a proposed modification to the City of Bradford’s FY 2024 CDBG Program. The purpose of the modification is to transfer the use of $135,000 in CDBG funds from the West Washington Street Corridor Improvements Project and $10,000 from the Single Family Housing Rehabilitation Project to Callahan Park Recreation Improvements Phase 2. Additional improvements planned in Callahan Park may include baseball field improvements, the replacement of the pedestrian footbridge near the baseball fields, spray park improvements and engineering/planning for pool bathhouse improvements.

The Callahan Park Recreation Improvements Project meets CDBG criteria as a citywide low/moderate income benefit activity. Interested persons are invited to attend and provide comments on the modification and the City’s CDBG Program.

Written comments may be directed to the Office of Economic and Community Development, 20 Russell Boulevard, Bradford, PA 16701. The deadline to receive comments on the modification will be October 10, 2025. The modification to the FY 2024 CDBG Program will be presented for consideration at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on October 14, 2025.
