Smethport Area School District has one (1) Board Seat vacancy from Region III which includes Keating Township District 1 and 2. Anyone who resides in Region III and wishes to be considered to fill the vacant seat should submit a letter of interest and verification of residency to the Smethport Area School District, Attn: Mr. Brice N. Benson, Superintendent, 414 S. Mechanic Street, Smethport, PA 16749;

or via email to bbenson@smethportschools.com. Letters of interest must be received by 3:00 p.m. on September 15, 2025. Applicants will be notified as to when they should appear in front of the Board to be considered for the vacant seat.
