LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the following Ordinance No. 116, Battery Energy Storage Facility Ordinance, shall be considered for adoption at a duly convened meeting to be held at the Keating Township Building on September 4th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time by the Board of Supervisors of Keating Township, McKean County, Pennsylvania. The title of the Ordinance and a brief summary thereof are as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF KEATING TOWNSHIP, MCKEAN COUNTY,

PENNSYLVANIA, REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR PERMIT REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN STANDARDS, SAFETY MEASURES, DECOMMISSIONING, AND ENFORCEMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE..

A full copy of the foregoing proposed Battery Energy Storage Facility Ordinance may be examined at the office of the Township located at 7160 Route 46, Smethport, PA 16749 during normal business hours.
