County Budget and Per Capita Tax Notice

In compliance with the provisions of Act of 1975, P. L. 323, Section 1782 (16 P.S. 1782), notice is hereby given that the proposed Budget for the County of McKean for the year 2026 will be on display in the Office of the McKean County Commissioners, Courthouse, Smethport, Pennsylvania for public inspection at 8:30 AM on December 9, 2025, and thereafter from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM weekdays by all persons who may interest themselves. The proposed budget will also be made available for inspection on the county’s website at www.mckeancountypa.gov at the same time.

The County Commissioners will consider the adoption the 2026 budget for the County of McKean at their Regular Meeting on December 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Commissioners Meeting Room, Courthouse, 500 West Main Street, Smethport, PA. All public may offer their opinion at this meeting.
