OLD MCCOURT BUILDING –

ASBESTOS

REMOVAL AND DEMOLITION

The Triangle Works Collaborative, LLC requests bids for the Old McCourt Building – Asbestos Removal (Contract No. 14202-2025-01) and the Old McCourt Building – Demolition (Contract No. 14202-2025-02).

The asbestos removal work includes the removal of friable asbestos containing material (ACM) consisting of thermal system pipe wrap and window glazing and the removal of numerous storage containers, refrigerators, light ballasts, and fluorescent lamps. The demolition work includes the total demolition of the three-story building and 1-story garage including permits, utility disconnections, temporary perimeter chain link fence and gate, building demolition, removal and proper disposal of materials and debris, excavation, backfilling, grading, site restoration, and repairs to an existing building wall to remain. The Old McCourt Building is located at 146

West Washington Street within the City of Bradford, PA 16701. Separate bids will be received for asbestos removal and demolition. A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025, attendance is recommended. Bids must be submitted to the Triangle Works Collaborative, LLC located at 80 East Corydon Street, Bradford, PA 16701 by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at which time the bids will be opened and read publicly. A sixty-day bid hold period applies, and ten percent bid security is required. The successful Bidder/Contractor shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Prospective bidders may obtain electronic access to the Contract Document by contacting Porter Consulting Engineers, P.C. (PCE) at 814-337-4447 and by making a non-refundable payment in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) mailed to PCE, 552 State Street, Meadville, PA 16335. Hardcopies of the Contract Document are also available upon nonrefundable payment of seventy-five dollars ($75.00).
