Let us remember the faux “stolen election.” Whose ox was being gored?
Liz Cheney notes in her book, “Oath and Honor,” none of the GOP House members contending the election had been stolen ever thought their own election, on the same ballots, had been a problem.
On Jan. 6, 2021 our district’s member of congress, Rep. Glenn Thompson, voted to object to the electoral college results of Pennsylvania, the constitutionally guaranteed voice of the people of our state. He did so just days after accepting his House of Representatives seat from the same ballot.
This is how democracies die, one damaging cut at a time.
