KANE — A Wilcox man has been charged with striking and making threats against a Kane woman at an alleged bar fight in March at the Buckhorn Hotel.
Justin Andrew Cherry, 24, of 230 Kane St., is charged with terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, summary offenses.
Court records said at 2:30 a.m. March 3, police were called to the Buckhorn Hotel for a fight in progress.
Police learned that Cherry had allegedly punched Lisa Boyer — the wife of Kane Borough police chief Heath Boyer — twice in the face and threatened to kill her, according to court records. Cherry was intoxicated at the time of the alleged fight, police said.
Cherry was arraigned Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge David Engman and released on $2,500 unsecured bail.
He is scheduled to appear in McKean County Central Court on Aug. 13.
