A Smethport man was gunned down Jan. 20 on the MLK Bypass in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Kristopher Wilson, 41, a graduate of Port Allegany High School, died in a Colorado hospital following the shooting.
Police responded to shots fired at 9:07 p.m. Jan. 20 on the MLK Bypass, and Wilson was found with a gunshot on the bypass between Union Boulevard and Circle Drive.
Reports indicate police continue to search for at least two suspects.
Detectives are working to identify those involved and to develop more information about the incident. They are now investigating the incident as a homicide.
No arrests have been made and no other information has been released, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.
