There were 88 additional cases of COVID-19 reported in the region as of Friday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since Thursday, there have been 32 more cases in McKean County for a total of 5,649. There was one additional death, for a total of 100.
In Elk County there were 25 additional cases for a total of 4,633. Potter County had 29 additional cases for a total of 2,173. Cameron County saw two more cases for a total of 568.
The health department reported the number of children who have had the virus since Aug. 16, when they began tracking the data.
In McKean County, from Nov. 10 to 16, five children from birth to age 4 had the virus for a total of 57 since August. For school-aged children, 30 had the virus within the last week for a total of 382 since August.
In Elk County, from Nov. 10 to 16, 44 children from birth to age 4 have had the virus since August. Sixteen school-aged children had the virus during the time period of Nov. 10 to 16 for a total of 220 since August.
In Potter County, 30 children from birth to age 4 have had the virus since August. Eight school-aged children had the virus during the past week, and 161 have had it since August.
In Cameron County, 42 school-aged children have had the virus since August.
