Reforms aim to protect National Forests, boost domestic timber production

WASHINGTON — U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins issued a Secretarial Memo to establish an “Emergency Situation Determination” on 112,646,000 acres of National Forestry System (NFS) land.
