Port Allegany High School students, from left, Leila Stuckey, clarinet; Raelin Meacham, clarinet; Aidan Clark, euphonium; Kaydence Beaver, clarinet; and Alayna Palmer, trumpet, were selected to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 2 Band. The students will travel to St. Marys Area High School this week, where they will participate in auditions, rehearsals and a public concert 2 p.m. Saturday. Dr. Hannah Morrison from West Chester University will be the guest conductor.
