DEFIANT CRIMINAL
TRESPASS, 2 DAYS IN A ROW
COUDERSPORT — The Coudersport based Pennsylvania State Police have charged Candia Baxter, 74, of Bath, N.Y. with criminal trespass and defiant criminal trespass, for incidents occurring on back-to-back dates.
The first incident at 10:53 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, police responded to Dogtown Road in Genesee Township of Potter County, for a report of trespassing. During their investigation, they concluded that Baxter had remained on the unnamed victim’s property after being advised to leave.
Then, on Friday, July 22, at 3:57 p.m. police responded again to Dogtown Road for a report of trespassing. The report stated that Baxter trespassed after ignoring PSP guidance, posted no trespassing signs, and the victims made it clear that Baxter was not allowed on the property.
Both reports indicate that Baxter was charged with defiant trespass through Magistrate District Judge Kari McCleaft. It is not clear whether these are two separate charges or the same one.
