Bradford Landmark Society will host its annual Patriotic Concert from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Crook Farm.
Patriotic and popular musical favorites will be performed by the Twin Tiers Community Band for onlookers who can enjoy their own picnic lunch or enjoy the hot dogs, cold drinks and ice cream for purchase from the Landmark Society. Admission to this event is free.
“This is a wonderful event to kick off the week of the Fourth of July,” said Crook Farm Coordinator Chelsea Schwab. “Last year despite a torrential downpour, we had a wonderful turnout. The farm’s lawn looked like a drive-in theater, with concert goers listening in from the comfort of their dry vehicles. Landmark volunteers even delivered food purchases to guests in their cars, car hop style. “Hopefully this year the weather will cooperate a bit more, but rain or shine the show will go on,” Schwab declared.
This is the ninth Patriotic Music Concert held at Crook Farm. The first was held in 2015. After a one-year hiatus in 2020 during the pandemic, the event was one of the first to return to the Crook Farm calendar of events in 2021.
