Paris Uniform Services is closing four Pennsylvania locations, including Bradford and DuBois, after being purchased by Cintas Corp.

Businesses in Bradford will continue to be served by Cintas, explained Michelle Goret, vice president of corporate affairs.

“Paris Uniforms sold its business to Cintas in early 2024,” read a statement from the company.

Paris issued a WARN notice to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry of the June 30 closure of the locations in Bradford, DuBois, Williamsport and Harrisburg, explaining that 138 employees would be out of work.

“Paris issued the WARN notice to provide maximum transparency to its employees as Cintas continues to integrate the business into its operations. Cintas encourages all interested Paris employees to apply for positions that are available within the company.”

Paris Uniform Services was founded in 1978 as a subsidiary of Paris Cleaners. Prior to the acquisition, David Stern served as CEO. Paris serviced customers in a four-state region, including Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and West Virginia.

The Bradford location of Paris is at 49 Susquehanna Road in Custer City.
