Bradford Township Police were dispatched at approximately 7:50 a.m. on Thursday to a one vehicle crash on West Warren Road.
According to the Bradford Township Police, Robert Cleveland, 77, of Bradford, was traveling east when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. Cleveland traveled off the roadway onto the north berm through a residents front yard, striking a utility pole, then continuing east into the front porch of a second residence.
Cleveland was taken by helicopter to Hamot Medical Center. The house that was struck had occupants at the time of the crash, though were uninjured.
Bradford Township Police were assisted at the scene by Bradford Township Fire Department, Bradford City Ambulance, Penelec and Verizon.
The accident remains under investigation.
