An Olean, N.Y., pair is facing allegations of retail theft at Walmart in Bradford.
Jessica Lynn Pinkard, 21, of 410 Martha Ave., was arraigned on Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Richard Luther on one charge of retail theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
Additionally, Matthew John Brucker, 22, of Olean, has been arraigned on charges of retail theft, a second-degree misdemeanor; and defiant trespassing, a third-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
Court records said on the afternoon of April 18, Pinkard put nine DVDs worth a total of $212.64 in her purse while she was shopping there.
Police were initially called to the store because she was shopping with Brucker, who was not allowed to be on the property, court records indicated.
Both are free on $5,000 unsecured bail. Brucker is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday. Pinkard is scheduled to appear on May 28.
