No injuries reported after vehicle strikes a residence

LEWIS RUN — At 7:23 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, a 2013 GMC Acadia driven by Alex Payne, 27, of Shinglehouse struck a residence, reported the Pennsylvania State Police Lewis Run Station.

According to State Police, the crash occurred when the Acadia was traveling north on State Route 44 in Ceres Township and the driver lost control, leaving the east side of the roadway and striking a residence. After the initial impact, the vehicle reportedly rotated approximately 180 degrees and struck the same residence for a second time.

Payne denied medical treatment at the scene, according to police.

The Shinglehouse Fire Department and EMS assisted on scene.
