SMETHPORT — Hamlin Memorial Library has events lined up for the month of June.
On June 7 there will be a stuffed animal sleepover beginning at 6:30 p.m., and children should bring their favorite stuffed animal. Leave the stuffed animal at the library overnight and see what adventures it gets into.
June 15 is the start of the Summer Reading program. Children from first to sixth grade are invited to join the group, which meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10 a.m., for books, games, crafts, special guests and fun. The group will meet until Aug. 3 and explore “Oceans of Possibilities.” Snacks will be provided by Child Hunger Outreach Partners. Craft materials and programs are sponsored by the United Way.
On June 17 there will be another Footstomp to Go. Meals must be preordered by June 14 and include pulled pork, two sides and dessert for $10.
