Admission is free, along with refreshments and prize drawings.
Exhibitors will provide information on healthy family living, with an emphasis on services for children.
Children’s books, handouts, and other child development items will be available for free. Visitors can play any of the games set up, including a bounce house, dunking booth, obstacle course, sack races and face painting.
The grand prize drawing will be a free overnight stay at Splash Lagoon for a family of four, with an accompanying gas card to defray transportation costs.
Several drawings will take place for additional items including a Kindle Fire, backpacks, a pre-paid cell phone, Darien Lake tickets, child booster seats, bicycles and gift certificates. Winners must be present to receive the prize.
Dental assessments will be done by Dr. Vic Brown and Beth Pantuso of Cole Memorial Hospital, and vision screens by Northwest Sight Services will also be available. Child photo and finger-printing IDs will be offered as well.
The Potter County Integrated Children’s Services Team is having a summer event to provide fun, education, and awareness of services for children and their families in the county.
The event will highlight services for families in a family fun environment, giving participants an opportunity to receive services on site and enroll in programs.
This event is sponsored by the Potter County Integrated Children’s Services Planning Committee and The Pennsylvania System of Care Partnership.
