EMPORIUM — Sizerville State Park announced its lineup of educational programming for the coming weekend.
Rainbow Rendezvous is set for 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Environmental Learning Center. Did you know that the Earth is the only planet in the solar system that has rainbows? Stop by the ELC for a short talk on rainbows and go on a rainbow scavenger hunt through the park afterward. Feel free to bring binoculars, a water bottle and comfy shoes to walk in.
“CCC History at Sizerville” will be presented from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Campground Amphitheater. Learn the history of Camp S-85, located in Sizerville State Park from 1933 to 1935. A movie will follow a short talk. Bring snacks and a blanket.
In case of weather, programs may be moved or canceled. For disability accommodations, contact the park office at (814) 486-5605. For more information, contact the ELC at (814) 486-5609.
