The 7th Annual Derrick Days event at the Penn Brad Oil Museum on Saturday saw a tremendous turnout, with more than 750 people.
Two service rigs and one antique Reid engine were brought in by collectors and local oilmen.
The event held demonstrations of basket weaving, candle making and rug weaving. There were historical talks by Stan Pecora in the James Kinley library, and tours of the new standard oil rig were very well attended with the Buffalo drilling engine running on the rig.
Food trucks, baked goods and ice cream were available as well.
