SMETHPORT — Several people appeared for virtual last-day-to-plea conferences Monday before McKean County President Judge John Pavlock.
While Pavlock typically schedules a separate sentencing hearing, everyone who entered a plea on Monday was sentenced at the same time.
Joshua D. Yaworsky, 31, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy, on Jan. 12, Yaworsky caused injury to a woman’s left temple area. He will serve 18 months of probation.
Kevin R. Woodhouse, 32, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Shade, on Jan. 19, Woodhouse shoved a woman into a television stand, causing substantial pain to her back. He will serve one year of probation.
Marshall L. Workman, 32, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to one count of theft by unlawful taking. According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on Dec. 4, Workman took $266.92 in cash belonging to the Uni-Mart on Chestnut Street in Bradford City. Workman will serve one year of probation.
Marjorie A. Burns, 62, of Duke Center, pleaded guilty to charges of DUI-alcohol and a prescription medication, as well as a summary charge. She will serve five years of probation with a term of restrictive sanctions.
Stephen M. Moore, 44, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to DUI-general impairment charges in two cases, as well as a summary charge in one of the two cases. Moore will serve 30 months of probation with restrictive sanctions.
Michael J. Warnas, 48, of Harleysville, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal mischief.
According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on March 21, 2019, at various locations in Bradford City, Warnas damaged several automobile tires. Warnas, who already made full restitution for the damage, will serve 11 ½ months of probation.
Joshua Darnofall, 21, of Johnsonburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal mischief. On Aug. 8, 2018, Darnofall intentionally caused $1,412.65 in damage to a Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck by punching it, Shade said. Darnofall will serve nine months of probation.
