SMETHPORT — An Eldred man pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to allegations that he discharged a firearm in the direction of a neighbor.

Terry R. Kohn, 63, of Eldred, pleaded guilty to charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

On Dec. 7, Kohn suspected that a neighbor was hunting on his property, so he went inside his house and grabbed a firearm, came back outside and discharged the firearm into the hills behind the house, explained Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade.

Kohn will be sentenced July 8.

Kelcie R. Moffett, 19, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges in two cases: a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in one case, and charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary charge. According to Shade, on April 16, 2020, Moffett possessed baggies with methamphetamine residue and a bowl with residue; then, from Feb. 12-13, she entered 906 High St., Bradford, and possessed meth and a pipe. Moffett will be sentenced June 25.

Kayla M. Button, 30, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of false report-falsely incriminating another and a summary charge. District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said that on Nov. 7, Button, whose operating privileges were suspended or revoked, was pulled over by police and provided a relative’s name and birth date as her own. Button will be sentenced July 8.

Accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program were Blake M. Vecellio, 19, of Bradford, and Clifford L. Morgan II, 56, of Mercer, both for DUI-controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; Gabrelle L. Baldwin, 22, of Olean, N.Y., Shania J. Eschrich, 25, of Johnsonburg, and Gregory J. Rogowski, 35, of Bradford, all for DUI-combination alcohol/drugs; Andrea E. Prince, 45, of Bradford, for DUI-alcohol; Scott M. Hannon, 33, of Bradford, for DUI-general impairment; Bryant D. Gray, 31, of Derrick City, for possession of a controlled substance; and Jason L. Andring, 37, of Marienville, for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
