Bradford man charged with stalking

A Bradford man remains in McKean County Jail after allegedly making threatening phone calls to his girlfriend.

James F. Wilcox, 34, of Scott Field Road in Foster Township, is charged with stalking, a first-degree misdemeanor; harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary offense.

According to the criminal complaint, on Aug. 28, Wilcox, who was incarcerated, repeatedly called the female victim late in the evening and threatened her, causing her emotional distress.

Wilcox was arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther and remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000 straight bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 22.
