SMETHPORT — A Bradford woman accused of running from police officers when she was wanted on a warrant was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court.
Karlie A. Ryan, 26, of Bradford, will serve one to two years in state prison with credit for 45 days of time served for a charge of flight to avoid apprehension.
On May 6, Ryan pleaded guilty to allegations that on April 12 she escaped a drug and alcohol recovery center in Erie, and a felony warrant was issued for her arrest; she came to Bradford, where on April 13 she fled from police officers on foot.
Also in court, Meagan E. Williams, 33, of Jamestown, N.Y., was sentenced to eight days to six months in McKean County Jail with credit for eight days of time served and one year of consecutive probation for a charge of endangering the welfare of children. Williams pleaded guilty March 25 to allegations that on Sept. 27, she left a 13-year-old child at Kinzua Bridge State Park without items including a means of communication, food and water.
William R. McKinney, 47, of Bradford, will serve five years of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for a charge of DUI-controlled substance.
Tiara M. Clemons, 23, of Richmond, Va., will serve 18 months of probation for charges of possession of an offensive weapon, firearm not to be carried without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On April 22, Clemons pleaded guilty to allegations that on Jan. 8 she possessed a set of brass knuckles with a folding knife and several items of drug paraphernalia.
Justin S. Carr, 35, of Smethport, will serve one year of probation for a charge of simple assault. Carr pleaded guilty April 22 to allegations that on Jan. 31 he punched a female, causing her to see white dots.
Shay L. Robinson, 23, of Butler, will serve one year of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for charges of possession of a controlled substance and DUI-controlled substance.
Jacob M. Woolley, 37, of Shinglehouse, will serve six months of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for a charge of DUI-general impairment.
Adam J. Brown, 20, of Emporium, will serve six months of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for a charge of DUI-controlled substance.
Brittany N. Stoddard, 23, of Coudersport, will serve six months of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for charges of DUI-general impairment and summary charges.
