KANE — A Bradford man was arrested for allegedly making threats after unlawfully entering his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.
Christopher Lee Bishop, 27, of 2 Bushnell St., Apt. 302 of the High Rise, was arraigned Saturday before Magisterial District Judge David Engman on charges of criminal trespassing, a third-degree felony; and terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
Court records said at 10:52 p.m. Friday, Bishop entered the apartment of his ex-girlfriend, Patty Schuppenhauer, and threatened to stab Duddley Griswold. Schuppenhauer has an active protection from abuse order against Bishop.
Bishop has been committed to McKean County Jail in Smethport in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
Bishop is facing a felony charge of criminal trespassing for a separate but similar criminal case. Court records indicate that on Dec. 9, 2013, he forced his way into Schuppenhauer’s apartment while she was trying to lock her door. He is scheduled to appear in McKean County Court on May 29 in this case.
