ALLEGANY, N.Y. — The Village of Allegany will transform into a musical haven May 11. Presented by BonaGany, this event promises an evening of entertainment for locals and visitors alike.
Kicking off at 6 p.m., the festivities will feature an impressive lineup of talented artists spread across various restaurants along Main Street and, weather permitting, an outdoor venue at the Town Park and Fourth Street.
Admission is free, with no cover fees at any of the participating venues, making it an accessible and inclusive event for all.
The musical journey begins at The Burton, where Terry Bellaway will grace the stage with his blend of acoustic rock and blues from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by the soulful tunes of Jason Wedlock, performing acoustic rock, from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Over at The Other Place, The String Beings, a captivating bluegrass trio, will take center stage from 8 to 11 p.m.
The Hickey Tavern will reverberate with the energetic sounds of Punching Einstein and their unique brand of four-piece rock and roll from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Fusion on Main will set the mood with the smooth melodies of the Avalon String Band, offering a fusion of Jazz and Swing from 7 to 10 p.m.
For those seeking a more intimate setting, Hometown Bar & Grill will host Brian Ash and Pete Gilroy, an acoustic duo, will serenade the crowd from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For the ultimate street-side experience, catch Sticktights, Alex Cole, and Dave Dorson delivering electrifying performances on North Fourth Street from 6 to 10 p.m.
In the event of tricky weather, Sticktights will relocate to The Hickey Tavern, Dave Dorson to The Other Place, and Alex Cole to Hometown, ensuring that the show goes on rain or shine.
