The McKean County Courthouse lighted green in support of veterans. At their Oct. 27 meeting, commissioners issued a proclamation encouraging residents to display green lights in their homes or businesses from Nov. 4 to 11 in support of Operation Green Light for Veterans. The green light, which symbolizes hope, renewal and recognition, is part of a nationwide initiative to remind veterans they are seen, appreciated and supported.
