Penn Brad Oil Museum breakfast to feature historic plaque project
The Penn Brad Oil Museum will hold its monthly Fireside Pumpers’ Breakfast at 8 a.m. Oct. 21 at Mama Jane’s Eatery, 31 Bolivar Drive. Reservations are not required.
This month’s speaker will be Debbie Deane of the Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau/Pennsylvania Trail Central, who will discuss the recent historic plaque project in Bradford.
The breakfast is sponsored by Minard Run Oil Co. and Dallas Energy LLC, with proceeds supporting museum improvements.
The museum holds the breakfasts on the third Wednesday of each month from April through November as an educational outreach and fundraising effort. Attendees order from the menu at their own expense, and donations are appreciated.
Businesses or individuals interested in sponsoring a breakfast can visit penn-bradoilmuseum.org or call (814) 362-1955. The museum also offers memberships and commemorative paving bricks, which are placed at the base of the museum’s flagpole.
