Thomas Renaud

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Thomas Jerome Renaud, 79, of Bolivar Drive in Bradford, Pa., passed away on Monday (Aug. 31, 2026) in Buffalo, N.Y.

He was born Dec. 3, 1946, in St. Marys, Pa., the son of David Edmund and Gertrude Mary Slater Renaud.

Thomas graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1965. He was a proud alumnus and helped organize his class reunions. During his working career, Tom was employed by Dresser Rand & Bovaird Co. as a machinist. He retired in 2008. He had a lifelong passion for plowing snow and used the “pennies from heaven” to raise his four children as a single father. He was a hardworking man and others around town might know him for car repairs, landscaping or other odd jobs.

Tom was a friendly, talkative soul whose heart was always with his family and friends. He was a longtime member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He loved riding his motorcycle, working with his backhoe, and sitting with his dog, Lucky, on his lap. He loved steak and said there is always room for ice cream.

He is survived by a brother, Edmund J. Renaud of Olean, N.Y.; three daughters, Staci (Frank) Frantz of Bradford, Valeri Wager of Theodore, Ala., and Merri Renaud of Fultondale, Ala.; son, Jon (Tremayne) Renaud of Everett, Wash.; his grandchildren, Phillip (Tiffany) Wager, Nicholas Wager and Zarlia Renaud; his great-grandson, Zachary Wager; and members of his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Clifford D. Renaud of Bakersfield, Calif.

A private family gathering has already taken place.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Friendship Table in Bradford or a charity of the donor’s choice.
