Deborah Annette McAdams Webster, 74, of Westfield, Ind., formerly of Bradford, a loving widow, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Debbie was born Oct. 20, 1951, in Bradford, to the late Donald and Jean Xander McAdams. She graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1969.

On May 20, 1972, she married Joseph Dean Webster, who preceded her in death in October 2018. Deb and Joe shared 47 years of marriage, and she was a loyal and faithful wife throughout their life together.

Debbie proudly raised her two sons, Brian and Derek, as a stay-at-home mother in Bradford. Her calling may have appeared simple to some, but caring for and nurturing her boys was her most prized accomplishment. She created a beautiful home that was wonderfully decorated, spotless and, most importantly, full of love.

She was also a prayer warrior who could likely blame her bad knees for all the time she spent on them praying for her boys. As her sons left for the military, Debbie and Joe moved to Williamsport, for a few years before eventually settling in Columbus, Ohio.

After Joe’s death, Debbie moved to Westfield, where she lived independently for 8 years near her youngest son, Derek, and his family. She took tremendous pride in being able to live on her own and care for herself despite the many physical challenges she faced.

Debbie had a passion for family. She adored her grandchildren as being their “Nannie,” and was constantly in prayer for them. She loved her small garden, especially her hostas, watching sermons and Hallmark movies, baking sweets, makeup, long daily phone calls with her sister, eating out at her favorite restaurant, Charleston’s, family get-togethers on holidays and birthdays, picnics and pedicures.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She embraced the security of knowing that He was her Savior, and her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now in eternity with Him. Her favorite Scripture, which she quoted often, was Proverbs 3:5-6:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

She will be remembered for her vibrant, fun-loving, outgoing, caring and joyful spirit, and for the bold faith that guided her life.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian Matthew (Lori) Webster of Williamsport and Derek Scott (Margaret) Webster of Indianapolis; her six grandchildren, Liam Matthew Webster, Tekla Mary Webster, Ronan Francis Webster, Elizabeth Grace Webster, John Derek Salladay Webster and Scarlett Louise Webster; her sister, Dianna (Patrick) McQueeney of Utica, N.Y.; her sister-in-law, Marcia McAdams of Bradford; and 10 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Joe, she was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Jean McAdams; and her brother, Robert McAdams.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 27, 2026) at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., and again Friday (Aug. 28, 2026) from 11 a.m. to noon, when a celebration of life will follow in the funeral home. Committal service will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
