Kevin James Parkhurst, 63, passed away on Aug. 1, 2026, after a brave and courageous fight with cancer in his home surrounded by family and close friends.

Kevin was a 1981 graduate of Bradford Area High School and a lifelong resident of Bradford.

He had worked at various local businesses in the area and was an industrial electrician at Graham Packaging at the time of his death.

Kevin was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and an active member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed playing darts, riding his SxS, and spending time with friends. Judy and Kevin would often spend time listening to classic rock, a passion that they both shared.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Arthur Parkhurst and his brother, Artie Parkhurst. Surviving is Kevin’s mother, Ardis Parkhurst-Kelley of Bradford; his son, Corey Parkhurst of Salamanca, N.Y.; and his grandson, Oliver Smith-Parkhurst of Portville, N.Y.

Also surviving are Kevin’s two sisters, Karen Parkhurst of Jensen Beach, Florida and Kathy Kloss of Bradford; his two nieces, Megan Hale of Greenville and Mara Kloss of Pittsburgh; his significant other, Judy Carr of Bradford; two great-nieces, Arianna and Addison Hale OF Greenville; and his close friends, Brian and Lynn Drehmer and Matt Luke, all of Bradford.

A Celebration of Life date will later be announced by the family.
