Christine T. Mangione, 85, of Bradford, passed away Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born on Feb. 7, 1941, in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Peter and Stephanie “Sally” (Sokolowski) Szewczyk. On May 11, 1973, in Buffalo, she married Joseph R. Mangione Jr., who preceded her in death on April 28, 2026.

Christine was happiest being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She loved the holidays, dressing up for Halloween, and was known to be an amazing cook. She also loved to play cards, going to the casino, Yahtzee, bowling and traveling.

Christine is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Donald) Smith of Bradford, Charlene Mangione of Bradford; two sons, Christopher Mangione of Bradford and Dilon Luksch of Bradford. Christine is also survived by a brother, James (Audrey) Szewczyk of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Danielle (Doug) Fargo and Tyler (Ray Yankey) Smith; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Joe of 53 years.

Family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave., followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Jacquel, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating.
