Denise M. Sampson, 51, of Bradford, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026, following a long illness.

Born Feb. 6, 1975, she was the daughter of Joseph A. Kuhn and Marie (Robinson) Kuhn. She was married on June 20, 1998, to Todd R. Sampson, who survives.

Denise was a graduate of Salamanca (N.Y.) High School, Class of 1993, and had been working on her associate’s degree through Northern Pennsylvania Regional College.

She was employed as a parent professional in the Bradford Area Central School system for over six years.

Her greatest joy in life was being with her family. She shared a life of devotion with her husband and poured boundless love into their three children. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and being on or near the ocean.

She faced adversity with inspiring strength and bravery. She loved to laugh; her smile filled every corner of a room. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving besides her parents and husband are one daughter, Madison Sampson; two sons, Cole and Issac Sampson, all of Bradford; three sisters, Teresa (Alan) Koch of Webster, N.Y., Elizabeth (Christian) Haralson of Elmira Heights, N.Y., Sarah (David) Ruszkowski of Olean, N.Y.; three brothers, David (Jennifer) Kuhn of Prattsburgh, N.Y., Robert (Bonnie) Kuhn of Livonia, N.Y. and Steven Kuhn of Bloomfield, N.Y.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Point Restaurant (next to Good Times of Olean), 800R E. State St, Olean, N.Y., 14760.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to an educational fund for her children. These can be sent to 50 Welch Ave., Bradford, Pa., 16701 (checks can be made out to Todd Sampson).
