LOVELL, Maine — Thomas Anthony Colella, 80, of Lovell, Maine, passed away July 18, 2026 with family at his side

He was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., and raised in the 5th Ward in Bradford.

Tom was a 1963 graduate of Bradford Central Christian. He was in the Air Force followed by 20 years in the Air National Guard, retiring as a Master Sergeant.

Tom met his wife, Jacqueline, while serving at Otis AFB on Cape Cod. They married on Nov. 5, 1966 and made their home in Falmouth, Mass., where they raised their four sons. Tom’s career included banking, insurance and marketing. He designed and created scrimshaw artwork. Together with his wife Jacquie (who predeceased him on March 30, 2026) they operated a Bed and Breakfast for many years. Tom and his family were associated with the Falmouth Theater Guild for over 20 years performing in musicals.

In 2003 they moved to Lovell, Maine to enjoy a quieter life and Tom had his dream job working in a hardware store.

Tom is survived by his sons: Christopher, Matthew (Stacey), Andrew (Brenda) and Marc (Nicole). He leaves four grandchildren in addition to his siblings: Amy Pollard, Carol Dalrymple and Stephen Colella.

Tom was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline and his parents, Vincent J. Colella and Geraldine R. Colella.
