Women from the former Golden Girls softball team gathered for a picnic reunion Sunday in Bradford at Mary Lou Sapko’s home. The women had played competitively in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s before taking a break. They reorganized approximately 15 years ago and played competitively for a couple of years. Sunday’s event was attended by approximately 60 people, with some traveling from as far away as North Carolina. A reunion had also been held five years ago.
