Craig Campbell

Craig L. Campbell, 69, of Russell Boulevard passed away Thursday (July 2, 2026) at Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital.

Born Oct. 17, 1956, in Bradford, he was the son of the late Malcolm F. and Gloria K Paynter Campbell. He was a 1974 graduate of Bradford High School and attended Mansfield State College.

Craig was a professional painter and wallpaper hanger starting in high school with his father, Malcolm. He worked alongside his father until his death in 2005 and continued his trade oftentimes working with his friend James “Tubby” Maduri. His career in Bradford spanned more than 50 years.

On June 21, 1988, in Bradford he married Nancy T. Borsa Martin Campbell, who preceded him in death on Feb. 27, 2015.

Craig was a former member of the VFW, American Legion and Italian Club.

He enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing and entertaining friends on Russell Boulevard.

Surviving are two sisters, Kathy Jo (Paul) Speranza of Endicott, N.Y., and Natalie A. (Dr Robert A.) Norris of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Tyler Martin.

No public services will be observed.
