Paul Hoehman
PORT ALLEGANY — Paul F. Hoehman, 89, of Port Allegany was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Clarence Center, N.Y., and passed away June 23, 2026, at his home with his loving wife by his side.
He was a proud U.S. Air Force and Vietnam veteran serving for 21 years.
He loved traveling the world — his next adventure after leaving Columbus, Ohio, was a life where he made every minute count as an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, camping and going to and working on race cars, snowmobiling, four wheeling, driving his side by side on the rocky terrain at “Rock Run.”
He was very adventurous and spent many days and nights at the cabin he built at Rock Run. He welcomed family and friends to visit there and gave hunters a place to stay while they hunted.
He enjoyed life to the fullest — he was the man who could do anything and stopped at nothing. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret “Maggie,” of 40 years; three daughters, Pauleen (John) Lanning, Tracy Leadstrom and Denise (Dave) Stahl; one son, David (Rhonda) Hoehman; two stepsons, Robert (Barbara) Farmelo and Paul (Karen) Farmelo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenny Hoehman; and two sisters; Norma Ulrich and Linda Kelkenburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and David Hoehman; two brothers, David and Robert Hoehman; a sister, Joan Moultroup; his first wife, Emma (Pat) Minns Hoehman; son Timothy Hoehman; grandson C J Shaw; and stepson Joseph Farmelo.
There will be no visitation. Military honors will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to Moose Lodge 460 or Veterans Memorial Inc., both in Port Allegany.
