2026 Camp Bruno held in Port Allegany
The 2026 Bruno Iorfido Wrestling Camp is being held this week in Port Allegany. The camp, in its 23rd year, has 265 campers. The camp is dedicated to the memory of Bruno Iorfido who was killed in a traffic accident during the summer of his senior year of college at UPBJ. Bruno was an All-American on the mat as well as in the classroom. He epitomized what a young wrestler should strive to become. The non-profit camp in Bruno's name awards schoarships to dedicated college wrestlers that emulate the same kind of character and drive. The camp was founded by Isaac Greeley, a PAHS graduate who is a member of the Pitt-Johnstown Athletics Hall of Fame and Sean Lathrop, one of Greeley's former coaches. Pictured (front) are Isaac Greeley and Sean Lathrop with clinicians and campers in back. The camp is held at Port Allegany High School.
