Ellen E. Tingley, 78, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Bradford, passed away Saturday (May 30, 2026) at AdventHealth Carrollwood Hospital, Tampa.

She was born March 17, 1948, in Kane, a daughter of the late Eugene and Eileen Wise Songer.

She was a 1966 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On July 2, 1988, she married Keith Tingley, who preceded her in death Jan. 15, 2013.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacqui Petterio; two stepchildren, John Tingley and Michelle (Brian) Ackley; two grandsons, David Tingley and Brian Ackley; and one great-grandson, Luca Ackley, all of Tampa. She is also survived by siblings, Dan (Cindy) Songer of Winchester, Va., and Virginia Crouse of Bradford; in-laws, Terry Williams of Sarasota, Fla., and Jim (Mary) Tingley of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law Kevin Crouse and Bob Tingley.

A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
