Aiden Bliss and Brynn Evens were selected as the Port Allegany High School's Athletes of the Year for 2026. Brynn is the daughter of Jamie Evens and Denise Evens. Aiden Bliss is the son of Brandon and Michelle Bliss. Evens is a four-year starter and two-year Captain in Basketball, was a 2026 Big 30 All-Star and selected to Big 30 and D9/D10 Senior All-Star games. She was part of the Lady Gators as two-time NTL champions. She was also a three-year starter and captain in softball; selected to the 2026 NTL Softball All-Star team; a three-year starter and Captain in Volleyball, where the Lady Gators were 2026 NTL champions, and a one-year letterman in Track. Bliss is a four-year letterwinner in football, wrestling and baseball and a one-year letterwinner in track; was named Big 30 Player of the Year for 2025 and 2026; was a Mr. PA Football finalist for 2025 and 2026; and was a three-time Wrestling PA State Championship qualifier, finishing in third place in the PIAA AA 189-lb division in 2025 and third place in the AA 215-lb division in 2026. He recorded 100 career wins and was named AML WRESTLER OF THE YEAR 2025 and 2026. He also holds the PA record for the Most Points in a Single Season (408 points in 2024); Most Carries in a State Title Game: Bliss carried the ball 47 times in the 2024 Class A title game, breaking the all-class PIAA state championship game record and is the District 9's all-time leading rusher, closing out his dominant career with 7,869 rushing yards. And also the D9 record holder for most career rushing TDs with 123. He was first in the the nation in rushing yards (3,430) in 2025 and was second in the nation in tds (60) in 2025.
