KANE — Timothy Johnson, 71, of Kane passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026.

He was born in Kane on Jan. 19, 1955, the son of the late Arthur and Luella Halquist Johnson.

Tim worked for many years in Bradford at Dresser, which became GE, and from which he retired. Tim was an avid outdoorsman, competing in local fishing tournaments. He also enjoyed hunting, including annual trips out west. He was a member of the Kane Fish and Game Club, the Mount Jewett Sportsman Club and the Major League Fishing Association.

He is survived by his brother, Tom (Jill) Johnson of Corry; his cousin Susan Budd of Denver, Colo., and her daughter, Cassidy (Doug) Mennen of Littleton, Colo.; his nephew Ben (Jade) Johnson and niece Heidi (Steven) in Ohio; and several great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by his niece Melissa Johnson.

A celebration of life in his honor will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Kane Fish and Game Club.

Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
