Nancy loved gardening and was an avid reader. She was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Church Altar Rosary Society and was very committed to the Women’s Group through several activities to benefit the Church and her community. Nancy’s faith guided her to treat all others as equal, with a strong belief in helping others nearby or anywhere in the world where a need existed.

Nick of Smethport and Mary Beth (Tim) Holohan of Smethport, and two sons, Joseph L. (Terry) Nick of King of Prussia and Alan J. (Debbie) Nick of Port Allegany. Nancy also had many great-grandchildren and was their proud Nana. Nancy had a large extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved very much and was grateful for.
In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Beth Swartzfager and Mary (Midge) Bauman.
Nancy’s family would like to thank the nurses, aides and staff at the nursing home for the care and love that they provided to Nancy in her time of need.
