Bradford girls finish fourth; DuBois takes first at D9 meet
The Lady Owls’ 1600 relay team finished second at the District 9 League meet Tuesday. Bradford finished fourth overall with 76 points. DuBois won.
“This meet was our best overall performance in two years. We had many outstanding results with a high light placing second in the 4 x 400 with the second fastest time in our history. All four girls Emma, Aliya, Addie and Alyssa ran great splits with Addie under one minute,” Bradford Coach Larry Stillman said. “Alyssa and Olivia went 1-2 in the 100 hurdles with both running in the 15-7 range. Aliya had a big breakthrough and won the 300 hurdles. Addie had a great race in taking 2nd in the 800 and Emma took 2nd in the high jump hitting 5 feet for the 2nd time in a week. Sophia and Brynn had good throws in the discus and Addison had solid javelin throw. We are very pleased with the results and we are starting to put things together.”Bradford hosts St. Marys today.
