Mill Street closure scheduled

City of Bradford Police in conjunction with American Refining Group Inc. (ARG) announced there will be a temporary closure of Mill Street between the railroad tracks and Williams Street to allow ARG to begin critical work to restore operations to its Platformer Unit, which caught on fire March 3.

The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of crews and the public while essential repairs and system restoration activities are underway. Work is expected to begin April 20 and continue through June 30.

During this period Mill Street will be closed to all through traffic between the main line railroad tracks and Williams Street. Clearly marked detours will be in place to guide traffic around the closure area.

City officials and ARG will coordinate closely to minimize disruption and expedite the restoration process. This work is essential to returning the unit to full operational status and supporting local service reliability, representatives said.

Residents are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
