Timothy Reed
SALAMANCA, N.Y. — Timothy C. Reed, 65, died at home with his family at his side.
Born Aug. 28, 1960, in Salamanca. He was married July 26, 1986, to Debra Leiper, who survives.
Timothy graduated from Salamanca High School, Class of 1978. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1979 to 1982 on the USS Samuel Gompers in Guam.
He worked as a surveyor at Savannah River Plant in Augusta, Ga., from 1984 to 1997. He was the owner and operator of Clean Extreme Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners in Savannah, Ga., from 1997 to 2000, when he moved the business to Bradford, Pa., operating it from 2000 to 2022.
He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed beating Bobby at iRacing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, James (Dana) Reed of Richmond, Va.; a grandson, Bodhi Reed of Richmond; and a brother, Robert Jacoby of Lancaster, N.Y.
A memorial visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., where memorial services will immediately follow with Deacon Michael Anderson officiating.
Full military honors will be conducted by members of American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post 535 and Veterans of Foreign Wars John F. Ahrens Post 5296.
