The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s women’s lacrosse team was on a five-game winning streak. However, Alfred visited Saturday and outscored the Lady Panthers 17-1. Pictured is Pitt-Bradford’s Christina Abel, who scored the Lady Panthers’ lone goal. During the game, the indigenous roots of the game were celebrated, with a speech by Pitt-Bradford President Richard Esch and an on-field performance at halftime by IndigiRoots, a dance performance group from the Allegany Territory of the Seneca Nation of Indians.
