Bonita Causer

KANE — Bonita “Bonnie” Marie Causer, 60, of Wilcox passed away Saturday (March 21, 2026) at her residence.

She was born May 7, 1965, in Kane, the daughter of Glenn and the late Rebecca Johnson Smith. She married Ronnie Causer in Mount Jewett on July 2, 1982. Bonnie worked for many years as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at various nursing homes until becoming disabled. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ronnie; a daughter, Melissa (Steve) Hall; son, Travis (Janel) Causer; six grandsons, Jaden (Shanya) Causer, Joshua Hall, Justice Causer, Tyler, Logan and Gunner Hudak; four granddaughters, Kirra and Sadaya Causer, Kaleigh Cowburn and Alivia Hudak; a great-grandson, Kylian Delp;  one sister, Vicki (Rich) Lyle; two brothers, Paul (Anita) Smith and Steven Smith; two sisters-in-law, Barb and Deb Causer; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, David  Causer; father-in-law, Claude Causer; and her beloved dog, Bella.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Marie and Wade Johnson; a sister-in-law, Sue Causer; and mother-in-law, Glenda Causer.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
